Depressing stuff. How can the US guarantee the "brightest and the best" to go to university? And I wonder how many people are deterred from going to university because of the debt.
Students in England and Wales (but not Scotland) face this grim future, if the tuition fees are allowed to continue to rise to the levels in the US.
